The war has begun! Get ready, Get ready!!
You were so brave, so brave you were.
You lived so long, but died shortly after.
We will remember you everyday
for the rest of our lives.

The war begun, and then it ended.
Some survived and some were killed.

Children were evacuated
far away from their parents .
They were scared and frightend,
or didn't know what was going on.

But the saddest moment of the Anzac day,
is children's father's drifting away.
